Holger Hilgers aka Adam Weishaupt
It`s the first time that I have ever had to do this for my Radioshow and it isn`t easy to find the right words . When a friend passes away it is always a shock . Holger was a friend, not only a friend but a damned fine DJ . He was featured on my show many a time because he had such a great understanding of music . We met at the legendary weekender parties at Ochsenfrosch in Vienna . He had come from Germany, lived in Graz for a bit, was a legend in places such as Rummelsbucht, helped organise and curate The Krake festival. He was looking to hook up with like-minded DJs such as myself in and around Vienna. He found me, and we had a few pints ( as you do ) and it didn`t take long for him to make his first appearance on the show. At the same time he started making a name for himself in the Viennese club scene. We wrote to each other more often than we saw each other which, in itself is sad, as I always thought we would have time to meet up for a few beers, talk about music and parties and maybe get that next mix fixed for the Radioshow . Sadly this was not to be . Holger passed away on the 26th of August 2017 . This one hour is dedicated to you Holger my friend. You left us far too early, you will be missed .
The set was recorded for Dogs Bollocks in November 2016 . It`s a great set from a great DJ. Enjoy . One love .

Der Spezialist für tieffrequente Weirdness und liebliche Melodien im Umfeld des Hardcore-Kontinuums stammt ursprünglich aus Lettland und ist tanzmusikalisch in den späten 00er Jahren in der damaligen Clubkultur-Hauptstadt Graz aufgewachsen. Endlose Nächte in den finsteren Katakomben des Grazer Schlossbergs, sowie der denkwürdigen Niese (rest in peace), haben sein Verständnis von der perfekten Party mitgeprägt. Als Teil des blae:ton Kollektivs und Mitveranstalter von eklektischen Partyformaten wie Cosmic Trainwreck Disco und Die Halle, ist er seit einiger Zeit auch aktiv im Clubgeschehen unterwegs.

Now an equally multifaceted performer sets that course rapidly through different temperaments. Transporting his deft and uniquely dynamic DJ sets to Techno fans. Due to his loyalty and passion to underground Techno, his way of performing is much beloved among all people,who had once chance to listen to his music.

Georg Gnischrew (Subaudio Recordings, Vienna)
Exposure to audiophile music from an early age - passionate knob and fader operator since 2012. As the local scene in Vienna experienced a rebirth of underground bass music - Georg decided to create his own label, called Sub Audio Records. His first release on vinyl followed soon after (SUBA001, released September 2016) - and is now continuing to support Austrian bass music with his crew (and their respective musical output). His tunes have also been released by Version Collective and Dubtastic Rec. - as well as seeing support from all over the world.
