beat.sem-pres über sich

Zitat:"beat.sem-pres is a live-drum'n'bass-band from Austria/Tirol/Innsbruck. The name "beat.sem pres" is compound from the words "beat", the abbreviation "sem" stands for "semper" (lat. for "always") and "pres" as an abbreviation for "pressure". The name is not an honour to the well-known tennis player Pete Sampras, that is pure coincidence. The members know each other since their childhood but had nothing to do with each other for many years. In 2005 they noticed the fact that they all play an instrument and all like Drum'n'Bass.

About two years ago in 2005, we recognized, that we all are musicians and we all like drum and bass, so why not make a damn band ? We came together in a room in the "park in" a youth center and jammed for hours. That session was so great, that we decided to go on with.

Later a friend of us, called Andi, joined the band to support us with a trumpet, wich made our sound a little bit different. "
