Zitat: "I started doing music as a vocalist, then also as guitarist. I got tired of doing the band thing and got into electronic music. Though I've been dj-ing for a long time, I actually started beat-mixing in the late nineties, playing a lot of funky big beat. My influences come from all over the place (james brown, norman whitfield, isaac hayes, stereo mc's, norman cook, led zeppelin), and I try to incorporate them all (it doesn't always work, of course :o).

My compositions are influenced by the viennese electronic scene, mediterranean sounds, which I grew up with, and blues which I got exposed to while living in the u.s.a. for 15 years. I still enjoy dj-ing, and do so often under different names (mofo, iannis loumakis, justin case, justin base). At present I'm rethinking the band thing."

...und das rockt, geil. dieser nr. fehlen jedoch die vocals. sonst find ichs schön rund, funky und groovy. schöne baseline und viel abwechslung was das ganze noch spannender macht. nice feeling....
