The Velvet Swing über sich

The Velvet Swing are a psychedelic/surf rock quartet from Salzburg, Austria. The band consists of Philip Paulus (guitar, mellotron and vocals), Michael Zagorec (guitar), Jürgen Schoiber (bass) and Elena Rodriguez (drums/vocals).
The Velvet Swing was born in 2017 inspired by bands such as The Brian Jonestown Massacre, The Black Angels or Allah-las. It started first as a solo project by Philip Paulus and eventually becoming a band in late 2018, matching the release of their first EP.
