Today's webtip. Copyfight round 4

Swedish National Radio is reporting that the Judge in Piratebay case was on Board of Directors of copyright lobby group.

Who needs satire these days. The world just keeps on delivering its own bad jokes. The latest one ceoms from Sweden where the Swedish National Radio is reporting that the judge on the Pirate Bay case was on the board of copyright industry lobying group. The judge apparently sees no conflict of interes in the situation.

Others aren't so sure.

Not that this is anything new. The history of copyright issues in Canada is filled with stories like this, and it was only yesterday that BoingBoing reported about Joe Biden promising the copyright industry that the Copyright Czar of the United States would be someone sympathetic to their concerns.

Imagine if all citizens could get service like that.
