Today's Webtip: Nevermore!

someone called William Shatner a distinguished actor.

It's a litle to late to post this in celebration of Edgar Allen Poe's birthday, but since it features William Shatner, it's pretty much timeless.

In an inspired bit of casting, Mr. Shatner performs a reading of the Raven. He manages to pull off the performance without removing his shirt, and while sporting a full head of hair and a rather orange complexion.

Adventerous lighting and some mechanical hand gestures make this one of the most unforgettable performances of Poe's masterpiece I have had the misfortune of consuming.

Pay special attention to the intro and be amazed at the hosts almost gargoyle-like ability to maintain his composure.

He must be immune to gigglefits.
