„Nach der letztjährigen Zwangspause aufgrund eines Rechnerausfalles bin ich dieses Jahr
sehr gerne wieder mit einem Gast Mix für La Boum de Luxe dabei. Das wären 1 1/2 Stunden Deep House. Klassisch und zeitlos, so wie ich es am liebsten mag :) Letztes Jahr hatte ich einen Runden und die 40 voll gemacht, dieses Jahr also 2019 – hab ich mein 20jähriges Jubiläum als Dj. 1999 hab ich die ersten Aufleg Versuche gemacht. Damals noch mit Vinyl. Viele aufregende Jahre folgten Open Airs und tolle Partys, in und um München und sogar in Berlin. Nun bin ich doch wieder etwas ruhiger geworden und lege meist nur noch für mich zuhause auf. Ich liebe es einfach, es gibt nichts Entspannteres als ein paar gute Scheiben aufzulegen.
Mittlerweile höre ich bestimmt auch schon seit 20 Jahren La Boum de Luxe. Ja, da merkt man, dass man alt wird ;) Ich würd mich echt sehr freuen, wieder mal ein Teil davon sein zu dürfen. Macht weiter so, La Boum de Luxe ist echt ein absolutes Highlight in der Radiowelt!

Circle Of Live - Free Rotation Live Recording
aufgenommen live beim Freerotation Festival 2018
Circle Of Live (= Dorisburg, Johanna Knutsson, Mathew Jonson, Sebastian Mullaert, Steevio) present select cuts from an improvised live performance during this year’s Freerotation Festival. The artists took over the main stage with an unscripted, freeform live performance from open till close. Offering a recorded first glimpse into the free-flowing experimental set-up currently touring top European venues. With no prior planning whatsoever aside from an agreed BPM, the recording offers a snapshot into the imperfections and charm of truly improvised live performance - a refreshing notion in today’s overproduced musical climate.
Envisioned and created by Sebastian Mullaert, Circle Of Live represents an organic process which aims to detach itself from the habitual routines of dance music, to allow the weird and wonderful elements of collaborative performance to truly come to life. Utilising Sebastian’s unique live set-up which can accommodate any number of participants at once, artists drop in and out and collaborate as much or as little as they like.
