Slack Hippy back once again with his once monthly, Dogs Bollocks on FM4 La Boum De Luxe. We are all living in very strange times at the moment. A situation that one thought one would only see in films or read in books has become reality. A Virus, Corona (COVID-19) is busy disrupting the whole world. The most of us are stuck at home in isolation, trying to cope with this new found situation . For the first time ever Slack Hippy has recorded a whole show from his living room, taking an old microphone, installing new software and doing his best to get a half way professional show done amongst screaming children, echoey rooms and weird noises that come from everywhere. He`s pretty happy with the results, so here you go. 1 hour of Slack Hippy in the mix, with added day2day life moderation, children screaming, playing the piano and trying out their first moderations. Our 1st newcomer to The Dogs Bollocks
After playing the clarinet for 15 years, doodling around on the guitar and annoying everyone in his near surroundings with spontaneous body percussion performances, Sandro Nicolussi took a chance in electronic music and BYDL was born.
In their sets which BYDL often plays behind a mask or something else to cover their face it’s often about hard rhythms and industrial elements, followed by calming melodies representing mood swings and the current state of mind of the artist. Recently he started digging deeper in the endless crates of electronic dance music and getting open for new inputs and genres, which reflects on his recent sets reaching from pitched down slow house to fast and broken beats. BYDL is part of the collectives Tongraeber and hausgemacht and based in Vienna.

Meinhardt
Our 2nd newcomer to The Dogs Bollocks
Meinhardt was born & raised in Vienna/AUT. He grew up with records all over the place and got in touch with different music styles ever since. He started a metal band as a young boy after failing to study jazz bass. And is inspired by the true underground, minimal, techno, acid, house, tribal, hardcore, machine funk.
For him music is communication & plastic is the medium.
