“Syrian experimental new media artist, Audio/Visual interaction Artist and sound artist who kick-started her career as a bassist in a rock band called Karma and they performed in Syria as the first female rock band in the country. Now she is based in Austria where she performs as a Techno DJ & Electronic Producer. She is also part of A/V duo called Basix_Latency where she performs alongside to Boton Klemen live generated visual interacting to live music. They took part in LPM live performance meeting 23 in Münster.
In DJ-sets and Live sets she plays lots of tracks groovy minimal sounds combined with dark-psy twist. In producing she is distinguished by using raw and playful synths and other digital and analog instruments. She performed in many different countries and festivals like Traumtänzer festival Munich & HaselHort - Berlin, Beirut, Linz, Vienna, Madrid.”

Meanda

Meanda hat seine musikalische Karriere als DJ schon im Jahr 2002 begonnen, da hat er den 3. Platz bei einem großen österreichischen DJ-Wettbewerb gemacht, unter 70 Teilnehmern! Nach diesem Erfolg hat er Auftritte bei mehreren österreichischen und deutschen Radiosendern gehabt. Die Nachfrage nach seinen Diensten als DJ hat also über Österreich hinaus gereicht, bis in verschiedene Länder Mittel- und Osteuropas.
Mit seinem ersten Release auf JOOF Recordings im Jahr 2009 hat Meanda dann auch seine Reise als Produzent gestartet und auf verschiedenen Labels aus Spanien, UK und Kolumbien veröffentlicht.
Seit 2014 moderiert Meanda seine eigene regelmäßige Radioshow namens Artefacts, wo er eine Stunde lang melodische und progressive elektronische Musik featuret.Gestartet hat er beim JR.FM Radio Network in New York, dann hat Meanda 2019 zum britischen Undergroundkollektiv-Radio gewechselt und sendet Artefacts jeden vierten Sonntag um 20 Uhr Londoner Zeit. Seit 2016 ist Meanda Mitglied der Landscapes Music-Labelfamilie und verantwortlich für Artists & Repertoire. Und auch für seine eigenen Releases ist Landscapes Music in London jetzt die Homebase für Meanda.
