Unsafe & Sound Festival 2023
Von 7. bis 17. September findet bereits zum neunten Mal das Unsafe & Sounds Festival statt. 79 Künstler:innen und 19 Diskursgäste werden in sieben Venues zu erleben sein. Neben dem Wiener Flucc und der Arena, werden die Zacherlfabrik, die Brunnenpassage und der Artspace Echo Correspondence bespielt. Die Eröffnung findet in den Hallen der Otto Wagner Postsparkasse im 1. Wiener Gemeindebezirk statt.
Shilla und Kevin kommen live ins Studio und verraten schon mal was es da alles zu hören und sehen geben wird.

Transki (Wien) in the mix

Vienna-based Trance producer and DJ Transki is representing a new generation of DIY music makers. The local underground warrior is well known in the scene and plays shows all over Europe, such as recently at the Berghain in Berlin. He is creating and researching the sounds of future generations, breaking with and adding new values to the current states of club music. Charged by the dichotomy of original creation and referential imitation – which he encounters as an artist working in a digital archived environment – it’s an ongoing challenging of dogmas that drives his prolific output. For FM4 La Boum Deluxe Transki delivers a DJ mixe with glimpses of his sound realm.

Bonnie Callini (Surreal/Olymp/Salzburg)
Bonnie Callini is an Austrian-based Techno DJ. She is well known for picking up the crowd with her characteristic style - a mix of hard baselines with modern and experimental rhythms. While delivering DJ Sets at Pratersauna (VIE), Kremlin (LIS) and SodaClub (SZG) she creates vibrant memories with the community. Bonnie Callini is also a passionate member of the techno collective OLYMP as well as a part of the event Series SURREAL from Salzburg.

Lumenkin (Wien)
Lumenkin zählt sich zur Lovegeneration.
In den 90´er wurde sie von illegalen Raves, Technoparaden und Goatrancefestivals inspiriert und geprägt.
Musik war jeher ein Ventil für sie, Aufgestautes mit Tanz zu transformieren und einfach loszulassen- ein altes Tanzritual.
Mit dem Auflegen will Lumenkin genau dafür einen Raum schaffen- ganz nach dem Motto „fly high-feel deep“,wo das Denken pausiert und das Fühlen mehr Platz bekommt.
Von melodic techno, progressive house und deeptech: Seit 2019 bringt sie mit treibenden Bässen und trancigen Melodien die Menge zum Tanzen.
Besonderes Hilight war Psycristrancefestival in Mexico und der Burningmanball in Wien.
Während der Pandemie lebte Sie auf Ibiza wo Lumenkin auch im Onlineradio in Miami und Dubai zu hören war.
Der Name Lumenkin leitet sich von ihrem Nickname Alex Blumenkind ab und bedeutet Familie des Lichts, womit sie nach dieser dunklen Zeit, die wir hinter uns haben, ein Zeichen setzt.
