The song Wires was heavily influenced by artists like Editors, Depeche Mode and mainly the 80’s and 90’s UK electronic music scene. His debut single Wires is a catchy Indie-Pop ballad with aggressive Alternative-Rock elements and captivating cinematic sound moments.

‘’Wires is about the desire of a racing heart which becomes part of your daily life. The song is based on a heartbeat which progresses faster the longer the song goes on. You fall in love with the adrenaline rush and get used to the feeling that all is lost but deep inside there’s always hope and a fire that calms down when the storm is gone.’’


BIO

During the Covid-19 lockdown in 2020, Wieser started a solo project under his name Dan Wieser. In the process of writing new songs, he worked together closely with established producers. His debut single Wires which was produced by Wieser himself, marks the beginning of his solo music career.


At the age of 13 in 2009, Dan Wieser discovered his love for music while watching the Canadian band Billy Talent perform live on MTV at Rock am Ring Festival. A few days later, he bought his first guitar at a local music shop in his hometown Vienna and immediately started writing songs which soon became his biggest passion. With a good friend of his he founded his first ever band, a Pop-Punk project named Colliding Stars which debut EP 'Open The Sky' hit number #1 on the Austrian iTunes Rock Album charts. After touring the whole country for several years, the band decided to put the project on hold due to the departure of the guitarist in the band. Dan Wieser kept writing new songs which were heavily influenced by the Alternative-Rock music scene such as bands as Biffy Clyro, Muse and many more. During that time Wieser discovered his passion for Electronic music which found its way into his current style of music.
