In the last 2 years, loveakim has formed a new interesting style of his own. While admiring the work of artists such as Tyler, The Creator, Steve Lacy and musical legends from the Stevie Wonder‘s to the Marvin Gaye‘s, he has build a world around his music no other german artist has ever created. It is easy to differentiate between Iloveakim’s two different styles of music, on one hand he makes storytelling rap and on the other hand he mesmerizes with dreamy pop and a hint of DIY aesthetic. Iloveakim curates a sound of sugary chords, muffled and yet hitting drums and lush sounding instrumentations. It is definitely worth it to keep an eye on Iloveakim.
