Die Solo-Performerin Marionetta mit ihren ersten Stücken im FM4 Soundpark.

It's an after-relationship song, reflecting on pushing someone away earlier, for the other ones sake, rather then their own.

Marionetta über sich

The beginning is the end is the beginning.

„What a great gift you have! You truly have a beautiful voice!“- Jane Goodall

“Goose bumps music.” University Professor, Vienna

MARIONETTA is a queer, feminist and socially aware artist and singer using her voice and a loop-station to fill concert halls whilst performing alone on stages like Reigen Live, the Red Bull Ring or the Ottakringer Brauerei.

She is also a part of the art collective Kollektiv Kimäre, who are dedicated to breaking the taboos around the female* body, especially the vulva, organizing workshops and exhibitions to spread awareness in the streets of Vienna.

Having her voice compared to Christina Aguilera and Hayley Williams, MARIONETTA finds her home between Indie/Alternative and Avantgarde Pop.
She surrounds her songs with electronic-type gospel, inviting us into her world with introspective sounds, thoughtful lyrics and unusual song structures.
The loops create a vivid effect, reminding us of the circle of life – the beginning is the end is the beginning.

You can see her in the cast of the music video BOY by MIBLU and being featured by OETICKET Alive@home.
While finishing her bachelor of arts in music studies, she also participated in the Jugendoper by Theater an der Wien, performing a solo that merged an aria by VERDI with I WANT TO BREAK FREE by QUEEN in the youth opera LIBERTÉ.

Her first single and music video “Japan”, created in an all female* enviroment, will be released on the 10th of July 2020.
