Sofie’s Tapes
Im Sommer stöbern wir 2mal/Monat durch Sofie‘s Musiksammlung — Platten und Kassetten, gekauft während ihrer Reisen, sowie unveröffentlichte Neuigkeiten und Raritäten.
Als Künstlerin, Musikerin und DJ hat Sofie Fatouretchi bereits einiges in der Musikindustrie erreicht: Kuratorin, Business Development, Merchandising und Kreativleitung bei Boiler Room bis zu digitaler Distribution, A&R und redaktionellen Tätigkeiten bei Stones Throw Records, wo sie auch 2016 eine 2LP veröffentlichte.
Zu Boiler Room kam Sofie durch ihren früheren Boss Peanut Butter Wolf von Stones Throw, der ihr vorschlug, das Warm Up Set für die erste Boiler Room Show in Los Angeles zu spielen, bei der außerdem J Rocc, Dam Funk, Gaslamp Killer und Peanut Butter Wolf selbst auftraten. Das Set war ein voller Erfolg und so kam eines zum anderen und Sofie begann die L.A. Sektion von Boiler Room zu führen.
Nach einem kurzen Aufenthalt in New York, wo Sofie den dortigen Boiler Room Launch ausrichtete, und einer noch kürzeren Periode als Radioshow Host bei East Village Radio zog sie nach London, um Boiler Room im Headquarter hinter den Kulissen mit zu organisieren und weiterzuentwickeln. Folglich inszenierte sie Shows in Tokio, Moskau, Oslo, Wien, New York, Houston, Miami, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago und London. Zurzeit hostet sie außerdem ihre eigene monatliche Radioshow auf NTS Radio.
Momentan wohnt sie in Wien, studiert Psychologie, Philosophie und Englisch (Lehramt) sowie Malerei und spielt Geige in der Wiener Akademischen Philharmonie.

Drei-Bot last appeared on the show in May 2017 so it`s about time to get this eclectic master of the electronic beat back on the show. As always, inspiring and upfront , this time with a massive 2 hour set .
